Hello! It's been a while.
I apologize for the lack of posts.
Just like everyone else, I've been busy.
And if I'm being honest, I've felt a bit 'un-inspired' lately.

As my life continues on a series of highs and lows,
my passion for design tends to wane.
my passion for design tends to wane.
However! I'm happy to be typing on my mac and telling you about
a few fun things I've come across over the past month.
One thing that has not waned, is my obsession with bedding.
Kerry Cassill just recieved their 'Indian Summer' line and I couldn't resist...
'Love floral' standard shams and 'Deep floral' quilted euros.
I also ordered the brown checked 'couch pillow'.
So girly! So soft! So cozy!

So...on Monday, I had a bit of a bad day. A little sad, a little weepy. Normal 'divorced single mom feeling overwhelmed' kind of day. When I got to work on Tuesday, I found this book on my desk: Design Sponge at Home.
Tucked inside was a note reminding me that when I am down, I always have wine and decorating to turn to. Only a best friend would know exactly how to cheer you up!

(gafas lindo!)
The perfect mix of Domino, Lonny, House Beautiful,
and all the brilliant design blogs we read each day.
Thank you Kim!!!

Just before Halloween, I purchased this grey and white
chevron print pouf for the living area.
I like to think of it as an 'upgraded' bean bag.
Luce now has the pink polka dot one in her new 'hide-away' closet.
Comfy and stylish.

And on this rainy day in LexVegas,
a super cute heart sweater came in the mail and made me smile.
Buenos amigos la noche!

Sorry that you've been experiencing the ups and downs of life -- but glad to see you back blogging. Your new bedding is beautiful. It has a very nice autumn feel without being that regular autumn stuff. Very, very nice!
